Attention: test the sidewide alert

The Pre-MPJE is the official practice exam for the Multistate Pharmacy Jurisprudence Examination® (MPJE®). It is the only practice exam that features valid questions from previous versions of the MPJE to give students a realistic testing experience. Individuals may purchase the official Pre-MPJE practice exam and take it at home on their computers, and schools may purchase vouchers in bulk for their students to take the exam.

Registering for the Pre-MPJE

You may register online by logging into your e-Profile. If you have not yet created an e-Profile, click on the link below to do so. Once you register and pay for the Pre-MPJE, you will have seven (7) days to take the test.

The Pre-MPJE costs $65 per testing session. Fees are non-refundable.

Voucher Ordering for Schools and Colleges of Pharmacy

Schools and colleges of pharmacy may purchase vouchers to cover the cost of the Pre-MPJE for their students. Each voucher is good for one examination and can be purchased through NABP e-Profile Connect for $55 per voucher.

To gain access to e-Profile Connect to order vouchers, ask your college of pharmacy dean to contact NABP so that you can receive your login credentials. Only college of pharmacy deans can request log in credentials for college of pharmacy faculty and staff.

Schools that order more than 100 vouchers earn a 10% discount. After purchasing the vouchers online, college faculty or staff may immediately download a spreadsheet that contains the voucher codes, along with additional usage instructions and their invoice. Voucher codes can be used for two years from the date of purchase.

Taking the Pre-MPJE

The Pre-MPJE consists of 40 questions and you are allotted 50 minutes to complete the exam. You must complete the test in its entirety once you begin, and you will not be able to review questions or change an answer once you confirm an answer choice. You may take the Pre-MPJE one time for each jurisdiction. The Pre-MPJE content corresponds to the MPJE Competency Statements, which can be found in the NAPLEX/MPJE Application Bulletin.

For the best testing experience, please ensure that your computer and web browser meet the Pre-MPJE technical specifications.

To prepare students for the MPJE testing experience, some institutions arrange the Pre-MPJE to be administered in a group setting, in a controlled and proctored environment.

Pre-MPJE Scores

After you take the Pre-MPJE, you will be provided your score report on screen. You will also receive a copy of your score report through your email. The Pre-MPJE score is intended to provide you with information on your performance in answering a subset of test questions similar to those you will encounter on the MPJE under pre-testing conditions. NABP does not claim that a strong performance on the Pre-MPJE predicts passing the MPJE. A thorough understanding of the MPJE Competency Statements will help you prepare for the exam.
